About The Position

Greater Austin Allergy Asthma & Immunology, is looking for a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team! Practitioners, either Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants, at Greater Austin Allergy Asthma & Immunology are client-focused individuals that pride themselves on being driven by well-founded clinical research and thorough patient education. Supporting this team, you will find yourself analyzing and interpreting patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree
  • At least one year of experience ( required )
  • Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant License for State of Texas in good standing
  • Active DEA license in good standing
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in diagnosing and treating acute health problems relative to allergy, asthma, and immunology issues

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and interpreting patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses
  • Ordering, performing, or interpreting results of diagnostic tests
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key personnel in assigned practice environment
  • Stay abreast of developments in allergy, asthma, and immunology field
  • Maintain basic knowledge of insurance and billing practices as related to patient care in clinic setting
