About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current NYS PA licensure
NCCPA certification
BLS and ACLS certification
NYS Infection Control certification
DEA registration with NYS opioid prescriber compliance

Prior Interventional Radiology experience

Responsibilities

Assist with a wide range of IR procedures including angiograms, biopsies, drain placements, and vascular access
Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe, coordinated patient care
Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments and manage patient care plans
Educate patients and families on procedures, risks, and post-procedure care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Adhere to sterile technique and safety protocols at all times
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with advancements in interventional radiology
