About The Position

Gastro Health is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our private practice team in Reston, Virginia. Our APPs play an active part in delivering high-quality GI care by coordinating individualized treatment plans under physician supervision and engaging in clinical responsibilities that help drive high-quality, patient-centered care. As part of a nationally recognized team, our APPs benefit from dedicated physician leadership, strong clinical collaboration, and a supportive operational structure. We offer robust onboarding, GI-specific training resources, and a clinical framework designed to help APPs thrive. Work collaboratively with a team of 9 gastroenterologists and 5 APP's. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 4 pm, with an average of 14-16 patient encounters per day, focusing on outpatient consults and follow-ups.

Requirements

Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Virginia
National certification as a PA with prescriptive authority
1 plus years of experience
