About The Position
Established healthcare organization seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for an acute and urgent care role. This position offers a combination of Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care practice, where you will assess and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. You will perform common acute-care procedures and manage patients through diagnosis, treatment, and disposition. This is a senior-level opportunity for a PA comfortable working with a high degree of clinical responsibility, with strong physician and clinical team support. The role involves varied scheduling, including some evenings and weekends, and coverage across multiple sites within the Greater Sacramento Area.
Requirements
- 3+ years of recent Physician Assistant experience
- Significant Emergency Medicine and/or Urgent Care experience required
- Active California PA license
- Current national PA certification and BLS
- Strong procedural, diagnostic, and acute-care skills
- Experienced candidates only — no new graduates
