About The Position
A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Cardiology Physician Assistant to join its collaborative cardiovascular team. This is a team-based, patient-centered environment serving a diverse patient population, with strong system-wide clinical support and resources. The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Requirements
- Licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Washington State or eligible for licensure
- Board Certified (NCCPA)
- Active/Eligible DEA registration
Nice To Haves
- Cardiology experience preferred; strong new graduates with relevant clinical training may be considered
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
- Conduct hospital rounding, consultations, and follow-up visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies including EKGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac monitoring
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure management for cardiac catheterization and other cardiac procedures
- Provide patient education focused on prevention, lifestyle modification, and medication management
- Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based cardiovascular initiatives
