About The Position

INTEGRIS Health Breast Surgery in Edmond is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. This practice specializes in diagnosing breast disease and creating personalized treatment plans, offering a wide range of surgical interventions. The team works collaboratively with a comprehensive multidisciplinary care team, including medical oncologists, genetics counselors, breast radiation oncologists, pathologists, rehabilitation therapists, plastic surgeons, case managers, and social workers, to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive clinical care, medical consultation, genetic counseling, and ongoing follow-up for patients within the breast surgery specialty. This role involves supporting timely evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education, and continuity of care across the breast care continuum, working closely with the breast surgeon and the multidisciplinary care team.

Requirements

Experience working with oncologists, high-risk genetics, oncology education, rehabilitation, surgical interventions and/or assisting in the OR is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides medical consultation, routine patient care, and follow up as directed.
Assists physician with procedures.
Serves as a liaison between the physician and the patient.
Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.
Provides comprehensive clinical care, medical consultation, genetic counseling, and ongoing follow-up for patients within the breast surgery specialty practice.
Supports timely evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education, and continuity of care across the breast care continuum.
