About The Position

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team in Greenville, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. This is a well-established, growing, 100% outpatient practice with a Monday-Friday weekly schedule, offering the option of a 4 or 5-day work week. There is a 1:4 Saturday rotation and one evening included each week. The practice offers minimal call with group shared call and no holidays. A dedicated support staff and EPIC EMR with DAX Copilot are provided to assist with documentation and support work-life balance. A robust referral team assists with specialty care referrals and prior authorizations.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
  • Board Certified as either an APRN or PA
  • Master’s degree in Nursing is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Primary Care/Family Medicine experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
  • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
  • Federal DEA license is preferred.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities
