About The Position
Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a part-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Trauma Acute Care Surgery team at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. Kennestone is a level 1 Trauma center with just under 700 beds about 30 minutes northwest of the city of Atlanta. The team is comprised of 11 Trauma surgeons and 10 APPs and growing.
Requirements
- Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Experience preferred in an ICU, inpatient and surgical setting
- For new graduates to be considered, must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and have completed rotations in critical care and surgical specialties.
Responsibilities
- Responding to traumas
- Rounding on trauma, general surgery and surgical ICU patients
- Working with surgery residents as needed
