About The Position
This position is for an Anesthesiologist in Duluth, MN, practicing within a medically directed care model working with CRNAs. The practice involves approximately 2,200 cases per month, including General, Trauma, Ortho, OB, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Peds, and Regional procedures. The practice is located at St. Mary’s Medical Center (a 344-bed tertiary hospital and Level I Trauma Center with high acuity), Essentia Health Surgery Center-Miller Hill (4 ORs), St. Mary’s Hospital Superior, WI (2 ORs and 2 Endo Suites, approximately 90% outpatient surgery), and Essentia Health-Duluth (165 beds, 11 ORs, approximately 80% outpatient cases). The surgical schedule is busy and includes all but transplants and pediatric hearts. The facilities are recognized for their Interventional Cardiac Program and Joint Replacement Program, and are certified as HIMSS EMRAM Level 7 for both inpatient and ambulatory facilities.
