About The Position

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is seeking to hire full-time BC/BE Anesthesiologists to join their team. The Anesthesiologists will provide care at four facilities in Upstate, SC, ranging from Level 1 trauma centers to community hospitals, treating a variety of complex cases. The department includes General and Cardiac Anesthesiologists, with subspecialty call covered by respective teams and general call split evenly among generalists. The role involves medical direction and in-house or home call coverage depending on the facility.

Experience with complex cases.
Experience in General, Cardiac, Plastics, OB, Gyn, Urology, Ortho, Vascular, ENT, Trauma, GI, Neuro, Thoracic, Regional Anesthesia, and Peds.
Experience with off-sites including MRI and IR.
Experience with Robotic surgeries.
Experience with Spine surgeries.
Experience with Pain management.
Experience with Maxo-facial surgeries.
Experience with TEEs.
Experience with NICU cases.
Experience with Neurocraniotomies.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System facilities.
Participate in general and cardiac anesthesiology.
Cover general call evenly amongst generalists.
Provide medical direction up to 1:4.
Perform in-house call for night and weekend coverage at SMC – Church Street Campus.
Provide nights and weekends home call coverage at SMC – Mary Black Campus and PMC – Pelham Medical Center.
Treat a variety of cases including General, Plastics, OB, Gyn, Urology, Ortho, Vascular, ENT, Trauma, GI, Neuro, Thoracic, Regional Anesthesia, and Peds.
Provide anesthesia services for off-sites including MRI and IR.
Work in ORs, Cardiac ORs, EP labs, Endo suites, and Minor Rooms as needed.
