About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join their Coastal Mississippi program, which is a component of the Department of Anesthesiology within the Ochsner system Anesthesia Department. Ochsner Hancock is an acute care hospital with a 24-hour emergency room, specializing in surgical care, sleep disorders, physical therapy, and in-patient hospital services. This role involves practicing in a team model with CRNAs, with no call duties on nights, weekends, or holidays. The position requires collaboration with a collegial and multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses, comfort working with community and Ochsner surgeons and proceduralists, and the ability to develop excellent medical staff relationships. Physician leadership and input are valued at all administrative levels.

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist.
  • Must be comfortable working with community and Ochsner surgeons and proceduralists.
  • Must be capable of developing excellent medical staff relationships.
