About The Position

Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods (SMGR) is seeking an enthusiastic Addiction Medicine Physician to join their growing multispecialty group in Sonoma County. The candidate will join an established practice with one full-time Physiatrist and one full-time Addiction Medicine physician, with plans to develop a full multidisciplinary service. The primary practice location is Santa Rosa, CA, with opportunities to work part-time in Rohnert Park, Petaluma, and Healdsburg, CA. Full-time is defined as 35 hours of patient visit scheduled time per week. The practice serves a diverse patient population in an ambulatory pain management/addiction medicine setting. There are opportunities to participate in Addiction Medicine Fellowship or Family Medicine Residency teaching, and the role offers flexibility for work-life balance. The practice utilizes an integrated EMR (EPIC) and involves close collaboration with Palliative Care, Orthopedics, Neurology, Physiatry, and a new Behavioral Health practice including Psychiatry.

Requirements

Board certified or eligible (ABPM)

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in an ambulatory pain management/addiction medicine practice.
Participate in Addiction Medicine Fellowship or Family Medicine Residency teaching.
Collaborate with Palliative Care, Orthopedics, Neurology, and Physiatry.
Collaborate with the new Behavioral Health practice, including Psychiatry.
