About The Position

COASTherapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Technician for its Orange clinic. The role supports providers during patient exercises and treatments and helps patients have a smooth, enjoyable visit. The technician also assists the Front Office Coordinator with patient greeting, appointment scheduling, calls, and copays, while maintaining communication among providers, patients, and front-office staff. Prior experience in a physical therapy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required; the employer is willing to train an enthusiastic, caring, and motivated candidate.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Friendly and approachable, with an enjoyment of interacting with people.
• Interest in exercise, sports, anatomy, and physiology.
• Dedication to excellent customer service.
• Able to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computer systems and software.
• Willing to support and collaborate with teammates.
• Eager to learn and grow, receptive to feedback, and committed to improvement.
• Manual dexterity, general strength, and endurance.
• Able to routinely lift 5–35 lbs, carry 5–10 lbs, push 5–150 lbs, and sustain gripping at 40–50 lbs; guarding lift loads of 120–140 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a physical therapy or healthcare setting.
• Prior experience in healthcare or exercise science.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during patient exercises and treatments.
