About The Position

This position assists Physical Therapists (PT) with daily patient therapy treatments. The role involves utilizing certified or trained skills that are not considered PT-skilled activities as defined by the state licensing board. Responsibilities include maintaining linen supply, organizing equipment and supplies, ensuring physical order in the treatment area, providing exceptional customer service, monitoring supply inventory, reporting reorder needs, reporting equipment repair needs, providing educational services, participating in facility in-services, and ensuring a safe and clean facility. The role also involves assisting with clinical business office assignments and traveling to other PT clinics for coverage within a reasonable distance.

Requirements

  • Must have Patient Care Technician certification or on the job training; minimum six months experience in patient care or completion of PCYT or CAN programs.
  • Current CPR certification recommended.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with both patients and physicians.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately document information for billing purposes.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer experience in windows, spreadsheets, and word processing preferred.
  • College Preferred
