About The Position
ProActive Physical Therapy Centers is seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Rehab Technician to join their team. Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports & Human Performance, Exercise Science, or a related field, or currently nearing completion of your degree
- Fluent bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Previous Physical Therapy Rehab Technician experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assisting PTs and PTAs with patient care as directed
- Guiding patients through prescribed exercises and stretches under therapist supervision
- Preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient care
- Cleaning and maintaining treatment areas and equipment throughout the day
- Encouraging patients and providing appropriate verbal feedback
- Anticipating patient needs and helping create an exceptional patient experience
- Accurately documenting exercise information as directed
- Calling patients to confirm upcoming appointments
- Following up with patients who miss scheduled appointments
- Assisting the front office with incoming calls, scheduling, and patient questions when needed
- Helping with scanning, filing, and other clinic support responsibilities
- Maintaining a clean, organized, professional, and safe clinical environment
- Communicating effectively with patients, therapists, and other team members
- Working with the entire team to maintain a patient arrival rate of 90% or greater
- Bringing energy, positivity, and teamwork to the clinic every day
