About The Position

This position involves providing physical therapy services as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The role requires working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver skilled rehabilitation treatments. Key responsibilities include documenting patient progress and accurately recording treatment minutes. The ideal candidate will have experience with geriatric and post-acute rehabilitation patients and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required.
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience preferred.
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Experience with therapeutic exercises, ambulation, transfer training, manual techniques, and assistive devices.
• Ability to provide skilled rehabilitation treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Strong patient progress documentation and treatment-minute recording skills.
• Experience working with geriatric and post-acute rehabilitation patients preferred.
• Strong communication, patient education, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Ability to work 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM).

Responsibilities
