At Riverside, you’ll be part of an integrated health system trusted across our communities — a place where your work truly matters. Our mission drives everything: to care for others as we would care for those we love. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you’ll bring that mission to life every day, helping patients regain independence and confidence while delivering care that reflects The Riverside Care Difference — care that is focused on high reliability in our patient experience and service excellence. A Staff Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and the Home Care Therapy Manager to deliver patient care across various settings. The PTA follows the established plan of care to help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. This role requires knowledge of age-specific care, growth, and development, and involves participation in patient education, documentation, and interdisciplinary meetings. The PTA also contributes to cost-effective practices through supply management and recommendations for process improvement. The role requires flexibility with daily scheduling and may involve working in various patient care settings.
