About The Position
Midtown Oaks Post Acute is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our exceptional rehabilitation team on a part-time basis. If you are passionate about helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence while working alongside a supportive therapy team, we'd love to hear from you.
Requirements
- Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Skilled nursing, post-acute, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercise programs
- Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress toward goals
- Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families to support optimal outcomes
- Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care initiatives
- Maintain compliance with all facility, state, and federal regulations
