Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will assist our licensed physical therapists in the implementation of personalized treatment plans for our residents, focusing on their functional ability, mobility, and overall well-being. Your expertise and compassionate care will help our residents achieve their recovery goals and live life to the fullest.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) studies.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Missouri
• Ability to work varying shifts to support our therapy care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in physical therapy or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Conduct screenings and assessments to identify resident needs and goals
• Implement various physical therapy interventions, including exercise programs, modalities, and other techniques
• Monitor and record resident progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and treatment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques and exercises
