The Opportunity: Position: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Location: Salinas, CA (Beautiful Monterey County) Compensation: $50.00 per hour and up (DOE) Incentives: Quarterly Performance-Based Bonuses Support: Sponsorship Available | Tuition Reimbursement Availability: Full-Time (Part-Time and PRN options also available). Requirements

  • Current, valid California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.
  • A passion for serving the geriatric and post-acute populations with compassion and clinical excellence.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or sub-acute environment is preferred, but motivated clinicians from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to deliver high-quality therapeutic services and restorative interventions.
  • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility techniques outlined in their individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and document resident progress accurately and timely in accordance with California state and federal guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with the PT, nursing staff, and medical team regarding resident status and recovery goals.
  • Empower residents and their families through personalized exercise programs, safety training, and functional maintenance strategies.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented therapy atmosphere focused on resident-centered results.
