As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, and independence.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
• Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina (required)
• Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for improving resident quality of life

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established therapy plans
• Assist residents with exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Monitor progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support a positive, safe, and organized therapy environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes
