About The Position

OhioHealth at Home, in partnership with Compassus, is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). As a PTA, your role is to provide therapy assistance and help patients reach their recovery goals. This position utilizes AI-supported documentation to allow more time for hands-on patient care and efficient capture of session details. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, reduced documentation burden, work-life balance by minimizing after-hours documentation, and enhanced efficiency through technology-driven workflows.

Requirements

• A Bachelor/ Associate Degree from an accredited Assistant school of Physical Therapy.
• 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a home care or rehabilitation setting.
• Active and unencucumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Required within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Support PTs in therapy sessions aimed at patient mobility improvement.
• Use AI tools to assist in documenting therapy outcomes efficiently.
• Focus on meaningful interactions while minimizing documentation distractions.
