About The Position
The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA) is a 50-year-old home health agency that is growing and looking to hire Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in Marion County. As a Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), you will work with referral sources from the healthcare community to provide therapy services according to physician's orders and under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist to meet the needs of individuals and families in their homes. Assess patients' conditions and report significant changes to the registered PT and nursing supervisors.
Requirements
- At least 1 year experience working as a PTA in either an outpatient facility or hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services according to physician's orders and under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist.
- Meet the needs of individuals and families in their homes.
- Assess patients' conditions and report significant changes to the registered PT and nursing supervisors.
