About The Position
Ashford Hall Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join their dynamic in-house team of skilled therapists in Irving, TX. The PTA will be responsible for treating and implementing therapy programs to improve patients' mobility and function. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- PTA and valid state licensure
- New Grads welcome
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Implement therapy programs to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
- Educate patients and families on proper therapy techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and documentation
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
