Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy programs and activities.
- Follow developed recovery plans.
- Deliver therapy treatments.
- Design a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
- Be adaptable to the needs of the patient.
- Collaborate with peers.
- Make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.
- Ensure patients and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
