About The Position

A Part-Time (24 hours minimum) Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Horseheads, NY. Bethany Nursing Home (part of Bethany Village) in Horseheads, NY, is a 122-bed not-for-profit facility offering all levels of care- SNF, ALF, ILF and Independent living cottages and apartments. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists, focuses on appropriate and ethical patient care, and understands what therapists need to be successful. Requirements

• Must have graduated from a 2 year accredited PTA program
• Passed state boards
• Hold a current valid NY PTA license or be eligible for licensure
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
