The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will assist the Physical Therapist in planning, developing, organizing, evaluating, and directing physical therapy activities. This role involves facilitating Telehealth services, communicating with other departments, maintaining physical therapy standards, and interpreting procedures to staff and residents. The PTA will also assist in instructing residents and families on home programs and adaptive equipment, maintaining documentation, and ensuring accurate billing for services rendered. All billing and daily notes must be completed on the date of service. Administrative duties include completing medical forms, reports, and charting. The PTA will report any questions or concerns to the Director of Rehabilitation and/or supervising Physical Therapist.
