About The Position

Argus Home Health Care has been able to help many, with our vast array of medical services, since 1990. Because we’ve been around for so long, we’ve been able to perfect our expertise and professionalism in serving those in need of health care, in their own home. Our mission is to provide quality care in the home environment, emphasizing preventative and restorative medical care, with compassion and respect for each individual served. This position provides therapy services to individuals and families in their homes, under the supervision of a qualified Physical or Occupational therapist.

Requirements

Successfully completed the required educational program
Licensed or certified as required by the State of Colorado
Valid state driver's license
Access to a reliable automobile
Knowledge of therapy principles and procedures
Working knowledge of possible hazards to clients during treatment and of the necessary precautionary measures
Ability to apply therapy techniques and methods to individual clients
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to incorporate new ideas or concepts into practice
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with professional and non-professional staff members, clients, and the general public

Responsibilities

Provision of client care services which have been selected and delegated by the registered/certified therapist
Participation in preparation of clinical and progress reports
Participation in educating the client and family
Participation in in service programs
Performance of service planned, delegated, and supervised by the Therapist
Maintains current knowledge of the Physical or Occupational Therapy profession by participation in formal education programs, workshops, and professional organizations
Performs other related functions as required
