As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will play a vital role in helping our residents regain mobility, strength, and independence. As a PTA, you will work closely with our experienced physical therapy team to design and implement individualized treatment plans for our residents. You will utilize a variety of techniques, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and education, to help our residents reach their full potential. Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facilities are equipped with the latest technology, and our team is committed to providing a supportive and encouraging environment for our residents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for residents
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify areas of impaired mobility and function
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific impairments and goals
- Utilize a variety of techniques, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and education, to help residents achieve their goals
- Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on proper techniques and strategies for maintaining independence
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
- Monitor and document resident progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
