About The Position

Seeking a Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant, offering a signing bonus of $5,000! Doctors of Physical Therapy Onsite is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to partner with a leading American manufacturer in a state-of-the-art industrial setting. Focus is on patient care, injury prevention, coaching employees, and ergonomic assessments. DPT has helped keep thousands of workers safe from injury by providing innovative solutions in the field of environmental health and safety. We offer thorough onboarding, training, and mentorship. · No productivity requirements · Monday-Friday schedule · Injury management, screening, and prevention performed in an industrial setting · A member of a nationwide successful team of industrial therapists Doctors of Physical Therapy was founded in 2005 by a physical therapist, with the main goal to consistently help patients achieve faster, long-term relief. We currently operate 160 outpatient clinics and an additional 40 onsite locations throughout the US. We are growing and are looking for therapists who want to grow with us.

Responsibilities

  • Work hand in hand with your PT Supervisor to implement treatment plans and goals
  • Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based therapy care
  • Provide early intervention assessment and care
  • Coach employees on optimal body mechanics and work postures
  • Identify and assess ergonomic areas of concern and recommend solutions to lower risk
  • Consult with the safety team, plant management, production supervisors, and other stakeholders
  • Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
  • Develop short and long-term goals for patients
  • Provide comprehensive therapy treatment to improve patient well-being and return to optimized functionality.
  • Consistently report patient progress to referring physicians and other professionals involved in the ongoing treatment of the patient.
  • Create and document home exercise plans for patients to improve the benefits of physical therapy.
  • Plan and execute the discharge of the patient
