About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Hill Correctional Center located in Galesburg, Illinois. The Physical Therapy Assistant reports to the Physical Therapist. This person will promote and maintain health by providing physical therapy services within a team approach, providing quality care in a secure setting. Under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, this person will implement care plans for incarcerated individuals for rehabilitation. Additionally, this person will help mentally and/or physically impaired individuals with tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Current/Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Illinois
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Experience working in corrections/ behavioral health
