About The Position

Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join their in-house therapy team. This role focuses on patient care without productivity pressure, offering competitive wages and a supportive work environment. The position is available for full-time, part-time, and PRN/On-Call schedules with flexibility in hours. The PTA will implement treatment plans, collaborate with staff, track progress, maintain documentation, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Oregon or graduate of an approved PTA program or actively working toward licensure
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to providing compassionate, resident-centered care

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
  • Collaborate with nursing and facility staff to support resident goals
  • Track progress and ensure quality outcomes
  • Maintain strong documentation and communication
