Therafit by OSA is a group of talented physical and occupational therapy providers and professionals located in Lowell, MA. We have over 10,000 square feet of space offering physical therapy, occupational therapy and even aquatic therapy with our large, indoor, heated therapy pool. We are partnered up with Orthopedic Surgical Associates (OSA) in Chelmsford, MA, a talented group of orthopedic surgeons and professionals all working together to offer value and quality in everything we do with regards to patient care. Assists PT’s in providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from all types of orthopedic injuries and diseases. Help PT’s fulfill patient treatment plans and procedures by providing manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue and joint mobilization, massage and stretching, administer and supervise exercises and activities, as well as apply pain modalities including electrical stimulation, hot and cold packs, traction, ultrasound, vasopneumatic compression and more. Records patient responses to treatments and reports outcomes of each treatment to the physical therapist. Keeps treatment area clean and organized in preparation for each patient’s therapy. Use internet-based EMR software (Athenahealth) for ease of completing documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Minimum one year of experience, preferably in a clinic setting.
  • New York license.
  • Current CPR certificate.
