Requirements

Current, valid California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.
A passion for serving the geriatric and post-acute populations with compassion and clinical excellence.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a skilled nursing or sub-acute environment is preferred, but motivated clinicians from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

Work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to deliver high-quality therapeutic services and restorative interventions.
Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility techniques outlined in their individualized care plans.
Monitor and document resident progress accurately and timely in accordance with California state and federal guidelines.
Communicate effectively with the PT, nursing staff, and medical team regarding resident status and recovery goals.
Empower residents and their families through personalized exercise programs, safety training, and functional maintenance strategies.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented therapy atmosphere focused on resident-centered results.
