About The Position
Yonkers Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join their team. This per diem position offers a salary of $40 - $45 per hour and requires 1 year of experience and a High School education. Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- 1 year of experience
- High School education
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Document patient progress and communicate with the therapy team
- Ensure safety and effectiveness of therapy sessions
- Collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to support resident goals
