About The Position
A Per-Diem floating Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is available in Calais, ME. The successful candidate will float to Senior Living Communities and private homes in the Calais area. Preferred Therapy Solutions is a therapy company owned and operated by therapists, focusing on appropriate and ethical patient care. Management members have experience in similar roles, understanding therapist needs. They offer a generous paid time off package and support continuing education. Requirements
- Possess a current PTA license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
- Work well with others in a team setting
- Be flexible with hours
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in the assisted living, independent living and memory care settings
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
