About The Position

A full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department. This facility is ideal for sub-acute rehabilitation with multiple first-floor private rooms and brand new gym space. We are looking for somebody with a passion for sub-acute rehabilitation as we have a very large transitional care caseload. Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited PTA 2 year program
  • Hold a MA PTA state license or be eligible to apply for MA licensure
  • Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
  • Work well with others in a team setting.
