About The Position
Virginia Mason Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a day shift position. Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is committed to employee well-being and providing exceptional patient care. As a PTA, you will administer physical therapy interventions as directed by a supervising PT, assist with patient mobility and exercise, monitor patient progress, maintain documentation, and ensure a safe treatment environment.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
- Current PTA license in state of practice.
- CPR certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
- Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
- Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
