We are currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Early Intervention and Pediatric team in Sussex County Delaware. Cover existing +20 visits/week caseload with the potential to build additional caseloads

Requirements

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of Pediatric and/or Early Intervention experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Partner with families using a coaching-based, family-centered approach
Support children in achieving developmental milestones and functional mobility goals
Deliver therapy services in natural environments, including homes, childcare centers, playgrounds, libraries, and community settings
Educate and empower caregivers with strategies to support their child's progress between visits
Accurately document treatment sessions using electronic medical records
Complete scheduled visits and communicate regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress
