About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Barco, North Carolina. This is a Full Time Day shift opportunity in an outpatient rehab therapy setting. The work schedule is 9 am - 5 pm. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members. Requirements

Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI

Responsibilities
