About The Position

Our collaborative, patient-centered approach ensures every patient receives coordinated care from a multidisciplinary team working together towards the goals of restoring function, improving quality of life, and promoting long-term wellness. At Mountain View Pain Center, we believe healing happens best when providers communicate, support one another, and place the patient experience at the center of everything we do. We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant in our busy outpatient multidisciplinary office. Our patient population is primarily outpatient orthopedic with a small percentage of vestibular and neurological patients. We are also currently trying to grow our pelvic floor therapy services so experience or interest in pelvic floor therapy is a plus. Our main goal at Mountain View Pain Center is patient centered care and we provide our employees with all the tools for them to grow as clinicians and to treat their patients effectively. Our PT philosophy is treating the patient as a whole using movement as medicine and we achieve that by working together in our interdisciplinary team to get our patients to achieve their treatment goals.

Requirements

  • Active Colorado State License
  • Comply with the Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure and Certification Standards
  • Have an active BLS Certification, the class must be at least hybrid, if not completely in person
  • Must have a current Colorado Physical Therapy Assistant license before first day of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or interest in pelvic floor therapy

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plans.
  • Participate in patient plan of care meetings and communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plan.
  • Record treatment notes and complete notes in a timely manner per policy and procedures.
  • Participate in discharge planning under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
  • Recommend any needed equipment to the Physical Therapist.
  • Accept other duties assigned.
  • Exercise good judgment in the performance of the job and be able to progress and regress patients as needed.
  • Successfully incorporate technology into daily practice as deemed by the Company.
