About The Position

This is a Full Time/PRN - Per Visit - Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position located in Lewisville, TX. The role involves providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes, assisting the physical therapist with treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The PTA will also be responsible for patient education, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining records, and participating in team meetings.

Requirements

• Home Health - Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) certification/license
• Experience in providing physical therapy services in a home health setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes.
• Assist the physical therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding home exercise programs and other aspects of their care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences.
• Other duties as assigned.
