About The Position

Stern at Home Therapy is actively hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients throughout Bronx County. This opportunity is ideal for a PTA who values flexibility, autonomy, strong earning potential, and consistent local patient volume without long commutes across multiple counties. You’ll provide one-on-one therapy services in patients’ homes while working closely with a supervising Physical Therapist who supervises remotely and an experienced clinical support team. This role is designed to keep clinicians working within a localized territory whenever possible.

Requirements

• Active New York PTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Home care or outpatient experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment under the direction of a supervising PT.
• Treat patients in home and community-based settings.
• Document visits electronically.
• Communicate the patient's progress to the clinical team.
• Build strong patient relationships through individualized care.
