About The Position

University Hospitals Avon Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and University Hospitals, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN position in their Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The hospital is committed to prioritizing employee well-being to enable exceptional patient care. As a PTA, you will administer physical therapy interventions as directed by a supervising PT, assist with patient mobility and exercise, monitor patient responses, report progress, maintain documentation, and ensure a safe treatment environment.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from a PTA program
• Current PTA license in the state of OH
• CPR certification required
• Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Rehabilitation or acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
