About The Position
Landmark Hospital of Columbia LLC, MO is seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to assist Physical Therapists in providing high-quality rehabilitation services. The role focuses on helping patients regain physical strength and mobility and improve their quality of life. The PTA works with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress throughout rehabilitation. The position is PRN with flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Missouri.
- Experience working in an outpatient setting.
- Knowledge of Universal Precautions and Voluntary Insurance Programs.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy weights.
- Excellent eye-hand coordination.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Compassion and commitment to patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Experience working with a diverse patient population.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in providing rehabilitation services to patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
