About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join a growing multidisciplinary practice in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role involves hands-on patient care and collaboration with experienced Physical Therapists, physicians, chiropractors, advanced practice providers, and support staff to help patients improve mobility, function, and quality of life.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Pennsylvania PTA license.
- Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist with therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities.
- Guide patients through prescribed rehabilitation programs.
- Educate patients on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and their plan of care.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Complete timely and accurate EHR documentation.
