About The Position
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist. This role plays a key part in helping residents improve mobility, strength, and overall independence.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in South Carolina (in good standing)
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
- Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Follow physician treatment plans and care goals
- Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes accurately
- Assist with rehabilitation and care planning meetings
- Communicate patient progress with the interdisciplinary team
- Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education
- Maintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipment
- Support training of restorative aides and nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies
