Requirements

  • Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Technical training in the use of physical therapy equipment used in the inpatient & outpatient settings.
  • Current certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.
  • Must have 2 years of licensed clinical experience.
  • Internal candidate must attain 3.25 PE (prior year) and no disciplinary action on file.

Nice To Haves

  • Has current knowledge of orthopedics, neurology, and medical/surgical problems associated with the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

  • Performs physical therapy programs and treatments as directed by the physical therapist for inpatient & outpatient pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.
  • Provides employee and patient educational programs as directed.
  • The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.
