About The Position

Under direct supervision of the Division Chief and Course instructors, the position will be responsible for setting up lab classrooms, cleaning up spills and utilizing proper methods, assisting with practical exams, replacing and securing supplies. The assistant will help students with their neuroanatomy operations to ensure safety and that appropriate procedures are followed. The role also involves answering student questions, tutoring students in specified PT classes and other related subjects as needed. Other related duties as assigned that reflect expertise, maintaining tutor logs and reporting timesheets are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM
  • Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count)
  • If Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress
