About The Position

Lycoming County Partnership Health Center is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and compassionate Part-Time Physical Therapy Aide to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This position is scheduled for 18 hours per week, working Monday and Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Physical Therapy Aide plays an important role in supporting therapists in the delivery of patient care while helping to ensure the clinic operates efficiently and maintains a welcoming, professional environment. In this role, the selected candidate will assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care in accordance with established guidelines and will support patients during therapeutic exercises under the direct supervision of licensed therapists. Responsibilities also include preparing and cleaning treatment areas between patients, maintaining the cleanliness of patient-use items such as towels and pillowcases, and assisting with the organization, maintenance, and ordering of equipment and supplies. The aide will also contribute to front desk operations by professionally answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, collecting co-pays, and supporting overall clinic functions to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior patient care or customer service experience
  • Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Aide
  • Background in exercise science, kinesiology, or personal training
